What if someone divorced in 08/2016, do they file together or seperatly?

My husband and I divorced in 08/2016 and still live together, how should we file our taxes for 2016?

You each file as single, unless one of you can file as Head of Household with a qualifying dependent. Your filing status is determined by your marital status as of December 31, 2016.
