Question

What is a Schedule S form and why am I unable to file until that form is available?

I tried looking it up but found very little info except something that said its for corporations, which I am not.

Might be a state form  (you didn't say which state you are filing for).

 

That wouldn't block Federal e-filing, but most states forms won't be ready to e-file until late in Jan, a few maybe February.....so many states cannot be e-filed yet.
