@spugach No one has access to your account.   The filter in the user forum removes personal information like email addresses and phone numbers for your protection----this is a public web site that can be seen by anyone using the internet.  Please do not try to post your personal contact information here.

I HAVENT RECEIVED  THE REFUND AND ANOTHER AMOUNT HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT OF MY BABK. PLEASE REFER TO MICHELE F. I AM WAITING TO DO MY TAXES BUT WANT REFUNDS  BEFORE I START- WHAT A MESS I HAVW BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR FIVE YEARS

What refund are you referring to?  The 2020 tax refund or something else?

ok it shows that for state im recieveing 1707 and that i  owe state 527 but when i look at my documents on the form to mail in the 527 is says refund due back is 0 im confused am i getting 1707 or not watis that amount about

I filed my tax in April. no tax return and it oct. I need to talk to someone now.

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.

 

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

 

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

 

Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.  Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.

 

To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

As of September 23, 2022, we had 6.2 million unprocessed individual returns received this year. These include tax year 2021 returns and late filed prior year returns. Of these, 1.6 million returns require error correction or other special handling, and 4.6 million are paper returns waiting to be reviewed and processed. This work does not typically require us to correspond with taxpayers, but it does require special handling by an IRS employee so, in these instances, it is taking the IRS more than 21 days to issue any related refund. 

 

How long you may have to wait: We continue to process tax returns that need to be manually reviewed due to errors. For returns received in the current year, we process individual tax returns for which refunds are due first. Tax returns reflecting tax owed are processed last, but if a payment is mailed with the tax return, the payment is separated upon receipt and deposited to ensure the taxpayer account is credited for the payment. 

As the return is processed, whether it was filed electronically or on paper, it may be delayed because it has a mistake, is missing information, or there is suspected identity theft or fraud. If we can fix it without contacting you, we will. If we need more information or need you to verify you sent the tax return, we will send you a letter. The resolution of these issues could take more than 120 days depending on how quickly and accurately you respond, and how quickly we can complete the processing of your return. Taxpayers are encouraged to check Tax Season Refund Frequently Asked Questions.

 

What you should do: In most instances, no further action is needed. Whether you filed electronically or by paper, we will contact you by mail if we need more information or if we made a change to your return. If you filed electronically and received an acknowledgement, you do not need to take any further action other than promptly responding to any requests for information. If you are due a refund, filed on paper more than six months ago, and Where’s My Refund? does not indicate we received your return, you should resubmit your tax return, electronically if possible.

Make sure it includes an original signature, and include all documents submitted with the original return. Otherwise, please do not file your tax return again.  Check Where’s My Refund?, or view your account for possible updates.

I AM TRYING TO INSTALL TURBO TAX 2022.  I PURCHAASED THROUGH AMAZON.  HOW DO I BRING UP THE PROGRAM TO DO MY TAXES?  I ENTERED MY LICENSE NUMBER BUT CANT GET THE PROGRAM UPLOADED

I am working on an amended 2022 tax return. Deleted my 1099R and am trying to fill in a Form 4852 with correct 1099R data. Can't get the Form 4852 to accept any of the data.
