What is the source of Tax-exempt Interest on line 2a of Form 1040-SR?
Turbo Tax says it comes from "Interest Income Smart Worksheet (Schedule B)", but I cannot find that form in my TurboTax list of forms.
Go further back ...
IT is the sum of any box 8 $$ on any 1099-INT forms you entered....(sometimes lowered a bit by any box 13 $$ on the same 1099-INT form)
PLUS
any box 12 $$ on any 1099-DIV forms you entered.

Occasionally there can be some added amounts from a Schedule K-1 form you might have entered...but having a K-1 is much rarer situation
