Question

What should I do if I was unable to get my actual w2 form, and am unable to view the Employer ID number?

I have reached out to my past employer multiple times, and they've said they cannot help, I also reached out to the IRS, which they sent me my w2's in PDF form, but I'm unable to view my employer ID.

Review this TurboTax Help.

 

You may have to submit a substitute W-2 using paystubs or other personal records to report your W-2 income.

 

Enter the income as if you have the W-2 form.

 

At the screen Let's check for uncommon situations, select Didn't get a W2 or received an incorrect W2.
