Question

What should I do when my filing for this year is being rejected because of my 2018 AGI? I have the right info and did my taxes with turbo tax.

I am pulling my info on AGI directly from my tax return and also the info was carried over using turbo tax.  I am not sure why I am getting an error when I know it is correct.  I need to e-file my taxes and payment today, but it keeps getting rejected

For some reason the IRS database apparently does not have the correct AGI. You can try entering the number 0 in place of the 2018 AGI. This often works.

If it doesn't work, you will have to print and mail your tax return. You can send your payment separately using the voucher TurboTax will print or you can pay using IRS direct pay: https://www.irs.gov/payments/direct-pay
