Please clarify your question.

Code D in Box 12 on the W-2 is:

D — Elective deferral under a 401(k) cash or arrangement plan. This includes a SIMPLE 401(k) arrangement.

If that is the case, Box 1 (Wages) of the W-2 will be less than Box 5 (Medicare Wages) by that amount because Box 1 took advantage of the 401-K deduction.

There is not a number designation like (20) associated with Box 12.  If This is not a 401-k contribution.  I suggest you contact your employer for clarification.

No...Just ignore the "20"

The "20" just refers to a makeup contribution for a 2020 , but made in 2021   , thus, the "20"

As @dmertz  has noted in another post  (though no AA20 in your case):

"The 20 after the D and after the AA indicates a contribution made in 2021 as a make-up contribution for 2020 under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994."

AA20 is a similar make-up contribution made for 2020 under USERRA but to a designated Roth account instead of to the traditional account in the (TSP) plan.

Agreed ... IGNORE the "20" ... just enter it as a simple code D.
