Question

What 'Type of income' are available under 'Other self-employed income'. I know one of them is 'Checks'.

These are the income options under self-employment income

 

General Income (Cash, Checks)

1099-NEC

1099-K

1099-Misc

Other Income (Cash prizes, business interest, bad debts suddenly paid)

 

If you have your own accounting method, you can simply enter all of your income from your business in the General Income section.  There is no need to separate the income reported to you on a tax form from your total income.
