What work industry would modeling be labeled on a 1099-MISC entry? "Fashion"? "Modeling"? Please and thanks?

The IRS uses that code for statistical purposes only.  It has no effect whatsoever on your tax return.

 

There is no specific business code for modeling. NAICS Code 711510 is for Independent Artists, Writers, and Performers. 541800 is for advertising and related services.  Pick one you feel best describes your business.
