Your tax due must be paid by April 18, 2023.

If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment.  For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.

Taxes owed on a 2022 tax return are due on or before April 18, 2023 to avoid a failure to pay penalty.  You should be able to select a date of payment when using a credit card for the payment.  The payment processor will handle the payment.

Note - There is a 2.49% convenience fee when paying by credit card in TurboTax.

There are lower fees if paying by credit card from the IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/payments/pay-your-taxes-by-debit-or-credit-card
