The software will let you e-file when all of your forms are ready.  But since the IRS is not going to accept/reject/ begin to process 2020 returns until at least the end of January, e-filing now just puts your return in pending on a server, where you can do nothing to fix any mistakes you discover after you e-file.  It would be better to wait.
