Question

When entering Care provider information, where do you enter the Tax ID Number? I only see a space for the EIN Number, should I enter it there?

In the form field I only see options for EIN number and not Tax ID number.  However, when I get to the review screen there is a column for Tax ID Number

EIN (Employer Identification Number) and Tax Id are the same thing.  just enter there.

If you're using TurboTax Online Deluxe, you'll be able to enter the information on the Let's get some info about your care provider screen. Select the Social Security number of Care provider radio button. 

  • You'll be able to enter the name and SSN of the care provider.
