When I enter my EIN number it pulls up a different company altogether

Two possibilities: The EIN on yiur W-2 is not correct - check it with your employer, or the payroll company that makes the W-2 available for import has an error in it's database.

All that you can do after verifying that the EIN is correct is to manually enter it.  (You can inform your employer to report it to the payroll company, but don't expect a fast fix.).
