Question

When I file my 1099-INT from my bank, it has the state and state ID NO. identified but no value for state tax withheld. This is flagged for being in incorrect by Turbotax

I don't know if any state tax was withheld or how to check. Can I just put 0?

    any state income tax withheld would be in box 17. if it's blank or zero leave off all the state info, it's not needed and is what is causing your issue
