When I finished my taxes, a bill of $119 came up. I thought it would be free if I filed within the next three day from the offer given to me?

TurboTax Self Employed Online

Unfortunately same thing happened to me. It’s a gimmick where they don’t tell you up front if certain conditions exist, they’re going to charge you.... like you have a rental house or you’re self-employed. If you make under a certain amount, you can start all over again with the freedom edition. Very disappointing. If they really were concerned, A good business practice would be to transfer your information over to the freedom edition, or tell you up front Which version is the Least expensive for your circumstances.
