Question

When I hit submit my Kansas owed was $123, now it is almost $400. My Missouri is not set to file. Is the software is not taking into account my Missouri tax credit?

You need to view your KS return to see if it is showing the MO credit. The KS forms are mostly supported while many of the MO forms are not yet released.

The software updates forms as they are released. Changes in forms can change refunds. See Tax form availability.

  • If your KS is accepted and is wrong, you will need to file an amended state return.
  • If your KS is rejected, you will be able to fix it and e-file again.

If needed, see How do I preview my TurboTax Online return before filing? In desktop, switch to Forms mode.
