Question

When I input info for 1099-NEC, my name not my husbands' comes up on "Does one of these uncommon situations apply. What do I do? It is his income not mine....

I have double checked and redone his 1099-NEC over 5 times now. Not sure what to do.

The question reads, "Did you have any self-employment income or expenses?" The next screen reads:

Who did this work or owned this business?

Choose the appropriate person. If it still doesn't work, go back to Personal Information and make sure you are entered there.
