Question

When I was in Highschool I never made more than $2,000 and never filed for taxes. Do I need to file them now?

If you live at home and your parent(s) claim you as their Dependent, you can still file a Tax Return if you have had Tax Withheld from your Wages.

In your return, indicate that 'someone else can claim me as a dependent'.  You can still get the tax you paid refunded.

If this is not the case, yes, you can file a Tax Return, even if you had no income, to claim a Stimulus Payment.
