Question

When reviewing , I noticed that the Software made an error calculating SE taxes. It should have used the long schedule and the amount would be lower. How can I fix this?

When you say this, do you mean why did TurboTax use the nonfarm optional method (lines 14 to 17) as opposed to the regular method (lines 1 to 13)? The form has been redesigned and there is no longer a long and short Schedule SE.

 

Since we cannot see your private tax data, please explain why you believe that TurboTax should have used the long schedule.
