When will e*trade import be available for 2025 taxes in Turbotax? My 1099s are already available there.

My internet connection is fine. I have verified third party access is enabled on e*trade. My username and password for e*trade is correct.

The pdf form you see online is not the file that is imported.  They have to make the special import files available to Turbo Tax.  Import files always take longer.

My 1099s are already available there.

    Are you certain about that?:

E*TRADE combines all applicable Forms 1099 into one Consolidated Tax Statement, which will be available to you as outlined below:
If your account is enrolled in eDelivery: Available online on or around March 7.*
If your account is not enrolled in eDelivery: Mailed on or around March 7.*
    * Dates subject to change

Yes, I received an email yesterday my consolidated 1099 was ready from e*trade and I downloaded it this morning.  The import functionality instead of manual entry is the whole reason I use Turbotax.

I can import my 1099b from Etrade, but its missing all the cost basis when trying trying to finishing thee return. Seems like Turbotax isn't accounting for the cost basis somehow and making you re-enter all of them. Mine failed thee smart check. Same issue happen last year with the 1099b missing the N-code or something. Just wondering if its the same this year.

I have the same issue here.

Yes, importing from E*Trade is available.

If you're using TurboTax Online, be sure to clear your  Cache and Cookies between attempts.

When you type in E*Trade on the bank name, double-click on E*Trade from Morgan Stanley in the search results below.

You should then get a Sign In link.  Make sure you checked your broker account to be sure you enabled 'third party sharing'.

Did you do something to trigger that or was it just dropped to you?

Cancel my last, just made it work from within Turbotax

    Mine says to contact Etrade!
I'm unsure if this is related to something not being enabled or what!
I have entered my password correctly, twice. I'm using the same password to login to Etrade, successfully (Of course with OTP on top)

You may need to enable third-party data sharing.
