Question

Where do I enter AGI on a return? My son is filing for the first year due to money he yearned from investments from award money. It is not letting me file electronic.

or pay electronically. I had read that if I put 0 for a previous years AGI it would then let me file electronically.

No, you have to tell TurboTax he did not file last year.  He will file with a 5-digit pin that can be any numbers he selects and the AGI question will not come up.  IRS requires either AGI or self-selected pin.
