Where do i enter portland arts tax?

You can enter the 2021 Portland Oregon Arts tax that you paid in the Estimated Payments section.

Taxpayers that itemize deductions on their federal income tax return will generally be able to deduct their 2020 Arts Tax payment paid in 2021 on their 2021 Schedule A (as State and Local Income Taxes).   To report the tax payment you made, please follow these steps:

1. Click on Federal >  Deductions & Credits. 
2. In the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section, click on the Start/Update box next to Estimates. 
3. On the next screen, click the Start/Revisit box next to Local Estimated Taxes for 2021. 
4. Answer Yes on the next screen Did you pay local tax in 2021?
5. Choose Portland Arts Tax, OR (it is near the bottom) from the Locality drop-down options
6. Enter the date and payment amount

The payment will be included in Schedule A with other state and local income taxes.
