Where do I enter returns to clients ($951 worth; they overpaid, I refund)?

I collected copays from clients based on the best information of what insurance companies would pay. 3 times in 2023 the insurance company paid more of the total changes so the client is due a refund.

You would enter that in the section you enter your sales in, in the category called Income You Gave Back. It will show up as returns and allowances on your business tax return.
