Yes, you can manually report Forestry Taxes you paid on Schedule A Line 8 using Forms Mode in TurboTax for Desktop.

  1. Open your return and click the Forms icon in the TurboTax header.
  2. In the left column, find "Tax & Int Wks" and click on the form name to open it in the large window.
  3. Scroll down to Line 4e. Enter a description for the taxes you paid in the second column ("Enter 20XX description") and the amount in the third column. Your entries will appear in blue, which indicates you entered this information.
  4. Now open Schedule A and look at Line 8. It should display "Other Taxes" and the amount you entered.

Note that you cannot make manual entries to any forms using TurboTax Online.
