Where do I input my estimated tax payments for 2016 even though I didn't have payment vouchers for 2016?

I didn't have to pay estimated taxes for 2016. I had a balance due for 2015 of 215.00. Turbo tax didn't print out estimated tax vouchers. I went ahead a sent in 2 payments at the end of 2016 because I knew I would have to pay. I can't find and turbo tax didn't ask me if I paid estimated tax in 2016. I would like the location and tax form to input this additional amount.

Here's how to enter the estimated tax payments that you made for 2016 in TurboTax.

  • Click the Federal Taxes tab.
  • Click Deductions & Credits.
  • Click "I'll choose what I work on" or "Jump to a full list."
  • On the screen "Your 2016 Deductions & Credits" scroll down to the section "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid."
  • Click the Start, Update, or Revisit button for "Estimates."
