Where do I mail supporting documentation for 2024 return?
Does anyone know where I would mail a supporting letter I need to provide to the IRS? The letter supports an entry I made concerning an investment procedure in my tax preparation and it needs to be included.
Would I send it to the normal address one would send a "hard" copy of their tax return if they were mailing it? Or is there a different address for written correspondence that is "outside" of the "normal" correspondence when completing a tax return? Thank you in advance!
