Your icon here shows you are using an online version.  If you had not already paid your TurboTax fees or requested that they be deducted from your federal refund, you would not have been able to file your return.  In the online product, you pay before you can file.If you haven't paid, you didn't file, meaning you didn't fit the submit button at the end.

The TurboTax account fees for the online editions can be paid when you are in the File section of the program on Step 1.
