Where do I put a 6000 dollar credit for hybrid purchase in 2019?

This credit is claimed on Form 8936, the Plug-In Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit. Please follow the directions below to input your vehicle purchase information into TurboTax:

  1. Log in and open your return
  2. Click the Federal tab on the left side of the screen
  3. Click the Deductions & Credits tab
  4. Scroll down to Cars and Other Things You Own
  5. Click Start beside Energy-Efficient Vehicles
