The joy of receipts - they become totals by category to enter into the program.

The IRS will ask you for receipts if they audit you so be sure to keep them -paper or digital.

 

If you are using Turbo Tax Self-Employed, it comes with one free year of Quickbooks. After you have paid for your return, you can go to the website and log in with the same user name and password. You can even pay for your return now, before you file and begin using the software.

 

You may be interested in using Quickbooks. You can snap a picture of your receipt and have it stored with your business information. You can add the categories and import the totals into your tax return.
