If your HSH(Household Employee) income is $2100 or above you need to contact your employer to issue you a W2.

Otherwise, if your income is less than $2100 you will report it as other income on your Tax return.

Please follow the steps below to enter your HSH income:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to Federal Taxes and click on Wages and Income.
  3. Scroll down and click start next to Miscellaneous Income.
  4. Scroll down and click start next to Other Income not already reported on a form W2 or form 1099.
  5. Answer "Yes" to the question"Other wages received".

Big thanks for your valuable answer. But I came to across another problem which is on my State tax return, I couldn't see my HSH income. The only income I can see is my W2 income. For example, if my W2 income is 15,000 and HSH income is 1000, on my federal return, I can see a total of 16,000 but on state return it's showing only 15,000. Please advise. Your quick reply would be appreciated.
