Where do I put the income paid to a 1099 employee as a deduction

I paid a 1099 employee and there is no place to deduct this in the Turbo tax form

    That is Contract Labor Schedule C line 11. You can just enter the total or list each one. Only the total goes to schedule C.

    be careful with your terminology. issuing a 1099 to someone requires that they be an independent contractor. paying an employee would require you to issue a W-2.

     

    use a line that reflect the type of service they provide. don't use the w-2 line
