I elected to have taxes withheld from PA Unemployment Compensation Payments. It shows on the US-1099G form, though I don't see where to enter that amount.

You would enter your Federal (& state) Tax withheld from your Form 1099-G unemployment as follows:

  1. Click on Search in the upper right of your TurboTax screen
  2. Type "1099-G" in your search bar and hit enter
  3. Click on the link "Jump to 1099-G"
  4. Your screen will say Unemployment and (Paid Family Leave)
  5. Check the box "Yes" I received unemployment or paid family leave on Form 1099-G and "Continue"
  6. Your next screen says "Enter your 1099-G info"
  7. Fill in that information and select "Continue" On the next screen you will enter your federal tax withheld
  8. Your screen will say "What's the total amount you received on your Form 1099-G?
  9. Make sure you check the box "Federal or state income tax withheld" complete the other questions and select "Continue"
  10. The next screen says "Enter Any Withholding"
  11. You will enter your withholding in Box 4 for federal and Box 11 for state
  12. Complete any other questions on that screen and select "Continue"
  13. Complete all follow-up questions

Your TurboTax screens will look something like this:
