I received a 1099-G in the mail for unemployment. Where do I enter that info? Do I need to get any additional paperwork to file for that
Form 1099-G should be all you need to enter your unemployment:
- Once in your return, click on Federal Taxes tab
- Scroll down to Unemployment
- Click Start next to Unemployment and paid family leave
- Click radio button to left of Yes, I received unemployment or paid family leave on a 1099-G.

Enter Form 1099-G and walk through all follow up screens.
