Where do you report interest received from 2020 tax return on 2021 filing?

You can follow these steps in TurboTax to enter interest received in 2021:

  1. Open your tax return in TurboTax.
  2. Search for 1099-INT with the magnifying glass tool on the top of the page.
  3. Select the Jump to 1099-INT in the search results. 
  4. On the page Let's import your tax info, click on enter a different way.
  5. Click on 1099-INT box. 
  6. Click on Type it in myself. 
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions. 
**Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
