Do you have an amount on 1040 line 30 for the Recovery rebate credit?  That is for the first 2 Stimulus payments if you didn't get one or qualify for more.

If you download the pdf with all the worksheets there is one for the Recovery rebate credit.

When you go through the federal review tab it will ask how much you got if any.  Enter a 0 in the box if you didn't get one.  Or to enter your stimulus payment in TurboTax, type "stimulus" (without the quotes) in the Search box, then click the link that says "Jump to stimulus."

After you have entered your tax information and are ready for the Federal Review, it will be the first question.

If you are trying to trigger it, you can go to Other Situations, answer any questions and click Done. The next automatic selection is Federal Review and it will ask about payments received.

If you didn't get one or both of the Stimulus payments or qualify for more it will be the Recovery rebate credit on 1040 line 30.  It either adds to your refund or reduces a tax due.

The Recovery Rebate Credit worksheet is only available after the TurboTax online account has been paid or the 2020 federal tax return has been filed and Accepted by the IRS.

The Recovery Rebate Credit, if any, is shown on the IRS Form 1040 Line 30.

If you have not yet filed the 2020 tax return you will need to pay the TurboTax account fees to view, print or download all the worksheets for the tax return when using the online editons.

To pay the TurboTax online account fees by credit card, without completing the 2020 return at this time, click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. On the next page, to pay by credit card, click Pay Now. The next screen will show a review of your Fees, click on Continue. Complete the next screen to pay by credit card and click Continue.

However, you can view your Form 1040 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

If you have already filed the 2020 tax return and it has been accepted by the IRS -
