Where is the documents tab when on a mobile phone?

You have to expand to show the left-side menu using the upper(left?) hamburger stack...but even then, not everyone has a "Documents" selection...Most people should be using the "Tax Home" selection from the left-side window instead if all they want to download is their prior year PDF tax file (2019 or earlier).

Alternate Directions:

IF.....if you used the "Online " software last year, you must be sure you logged in to the exact same Online account you used to file it last year.....(If you used the CD/download version, the only copy is on your own computer, or your own file backups)

Thus, For Online users only:

Don't use any FAQ directions that tell you to click on "Documents" in the left-side of the screen.....DON'T click on Documents in the left screen ......there's one FAQ out there that can really be misleading for some TTX users, since many users have nothing at all in that section

For any prior years tax forms......( 2019 is now loaded into the prior years section )

 INSTEAD:.....right after you first log into your Online account, click on Tax Home

..............Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents 

.....................click on Show. 

.............................Click on the Year and then Click on Download/print return (PDF)
