I have an excess advance premium tax credit repayment.  I want to put it on the line 17.  I can't find the "forms" icon.  Where is it?

Using the TurboTax online editons there is not a Forms mode.  That is only available using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editons.

You have to enter the From 1095-A so the software can complete the Form 8962 Premium Tax Credit and it will enter any repayments on Schedule 2 Line 2 which will flow to Form 1040 Line 17.

To enter, edit or delete your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button

Or enter 1095-a in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1095-a
