Where on your online form 1040 do I report a 1099C (charged off credit card balance)?

If you are using the Online version, simply log into TurboTax Online

Login using the ID and Password that you used on the original software.

You enter the Form 1099-C in the 

1. Wages and Income section, 
2. Scroll to Less Common Income, 
3. Select Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C. 
4. TurboTax will ask you the questions necessary to determine if the income is taxable.

1. Select Wages & Income
2. Scroll to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) [Add/Edit]
3. Did you receive Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits in 2024? [Yes]
4. Tell us about the benefits you received [] Social Security, [] Railroad Retirement
5. The screen to post the information will appear.
6. If applicable it will include your spouse.
7. Post your information
