Where to report 1099-G & IRS 1099-INT?

Hello,

1. Here I see 2 places for reporting 1099-G, which one is the right one to report Unemployment Compensation income from Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA). I received PUA from the Georgia Department of Labor.

 

2. I received this from IRS. Actually, I don't think it's right. I don't know why they this form to me because I did not receive any interest from them. But I think I will report it anyway. Where to report IRS 1099-INT? Just report as normal 1099-INT like it's from the bank?

The interest from the IRS is reported as you would for bank interest. If you received a refund from taxes paid on unemployment from 2020, the IRS would have paid interest to you.

 

Search for Unemployment in the upper right of your page and you should see this entry from the Jump to link. Or you could scroll through wages and income to see this:
