Question

Which TurboTax to use?

Hi. Prior years I've used other tax preparers to help me. This year I didn't have any income except  a few meagre thousands from swing trading the stock market. I have a couple of 1099Bs from TD Ameritrade for both options and futures. Pior years I had rental income from renting my house. Now I live back in it so it no longer counts as an investment property.

Which turbotax would be best for me? I also have carryover stock losses from prior years. Does depreciation that I've taken on the house when it was a rental come into play as well?

Thanks.

You need Premier - that will handle your investments and the carryovers.   Yes, the depreciation on the rental comes into play, but not until you sell the property.     If you had any rental income or expenses in 2021, Premier will handle those as well.
