    Q. Who should enter1098T information if my parents claim me as a dependent?

    A.   If you are a dependent, then your parents will claim the tuition credit. They will enter the 1098-T, even though it is in your name.

That's the usual answer. If your scholarships, shown in box 5 of the 1098-T is more than the tuition in box 1, some of your scholarship may be taxable and you will need to enter the 1098-T on your return.
