Can you move forward in the program from there?  You can select "File" and proceed with your checkout if you have not checked out yet.

I've gone through the process, already paid my fee, and had to come back in to verify identity.  After putting in D.L #'s and verifying I didn't file last year and that Scott did. It kicked me back to the beginning.

When you sign in, TurboTax will ask you to enter a code or provide some personal info to confirm your identity. It sounds like you did that part.

If you think there is an error you can try contacting TurboTax Customer service using this link: Turbo Tax Customer Service.

If the verification proves you are the person named on the return and that you personally filed the return, the return will be processed. After successful verification, it takes about 6 weeks to complete processing.

The return will be rejected and investigated as identity theft/tax fraud if:

    • verification fails to confirm your identity or that you filed the return
    • if the verification process is not completed, or can’t be completed

Respond to all requests from the IRS to validate your identity in order to avoid automatic rejection of what could be a valid tax return.

If you forgot your user ID or password, use our account recovery request to change your info.
