Maybe the deluxe version is the one you were using last year? If it was, you would be prompt to the same version when you sign in to your current account without signing up for it. If you have already entered your information, you can downgrade to the free edition. Here are the steps: Sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off To your left, select Tools, click on the drop-down menu Select Clear and Start OverOr If your AGI is less than $36,000, you may qualify to file free with TurboTax Freedom: It is an IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax which is exclusively available online and has its own dedicated website at taxfreedom.com. It isn't accessible from the "regular" TurboTax.com website and is not the same as the TurboTax Free Edition.
