Why am I being charged to file a simple W2 tax form for the first time this year?
I paid last year to file a Misc 1099 form last year, but I am no longer in need of that form and I've never paid for to file a W2 before.
It looks as though you are currently using TurboTax Self-Employed. This version is generally for personal & business
income and expenses. We have a variety of products that handle different tax situations. If you believe that you have been upgraded incorrectly, then you can downgrade by using the Clear & Start Over feature.
