Question

Why am I being charged to file Federal and State tax returns? I started my filing process with TurboTax after I was informed that you don't charge for these filings.

It sounds like your return required forms and schedules not supported by the free version of TurboTax. Please click here to see the pricing tiers and the included tax situations. You might still qualify for IRS Free File, though. Please click here to learn more. 

 

Also, you can view your fees by clicking on the "Tax Tools" option on the left-hand menu bar, then choose "Tools", then "My Fees".
