Why am I getting a message saying my 1099-R form, payer zip code, is not valid? It matches what was given perfectly.

The address is Norfolk, VA 30340 I looked it up and it is correct.

When I google it, I get Atlanta GA.

ALL the Norfolk ones start with "23", all the ones that I saw at least.

Any chance your computer...phone has autocorrect turned on?

It really doesn't matter ... just choose any Norfolk VA zip code and keep going. Or call the issuer and let them know they messed up.
