No one can see your tax return or your information so we cannot say why you are getting money back. You did not mention whether the refund is a federal refund or a state refund. The usual reasons for getting money back include having more tax withheld from your paychecks than you owe to the government, or receiving refundable credits like earned income tax credit (line 27 of your Form 1040) or the additional child tax credit (line 28) or maybe the American Opportunity Credit (line 29).
