Question

Why am I getting rejected for inputting my Child's SSN and marking the box that the child's other parent is claiming him.

The SSN is correct. And I am not claiming his as my dependent,  but paid for half of dependent care and insurance.

I assume that you and the other parent do not live together. Who did the child live with? If the child did not live with you, you cannot claim dependent care expenses. If the child did not live with you (i.e. you are not the custodial parent as defined in tax law), and you are not claiming him as a dependent, he should not be on your tax return at all.

He lives with both of us, but we made an agreement the other parent would claim due to being head of household.  Am I to not include even having a child and all the hundreds I spent in expenses? I clearly marked that I Do have a child, but the other parent is claiming. So again, do I not even put that I do genuinely have a child by birth?

If you live together unmarried, delete the child from you return completely. The question about a custody agreement only applies to a court order or other agreement between two parents who live apart and share custody. When you live together with the child, only one parent can claim the child as a dependent and the tax benefits of claiming a dependent cannot be split.
