Why am I not able to claim head of household because I don't have any dependents you don't have to have dependents to claim head of household

In order to use the Head of Household filing status, you must have a 'qualifying person' included on your tax return. If you have gone through the section of your return and the result was you did not qualify for Head of Household, go through it one more time and double-check your information.
