Why am i not getting the standard credit for my gtandaughter? she was 17 the whole year,did not work, and I provided for her 100 %. I am her legal quardian.

The "standard credit?"  You do not get the child tax credit for a child who is 17; nor do you receive stimulus money for a 17 year old.  Those are for children who are 16 or younger.

 

If you claimed her as a dependent on your tax return you could get the $500 credit for other dependents which will show up on line 13a of your Form 1040.

If you qualified for earned income credit for her it will be on line 18a of your Form 1040.
